I assume that what they give free of charge is only upgrade over to old operating system so in case you want to do fresh installation you need to buy one. Let's see when it's released.

I have been told that with Windows these upgrades wouldn't always work properly and you should always do fresh installation. Is that the case? I wouldn't like to install all games again but in case re-installing Windows that might be needed?

Is it worth to update? Any improvements for gaming point of view from Win7?
