Anyone reserved their download spot?

I'll probably give it a week or two before downloading to see if it blows up any computers first :cautious:

Seeing as it's free it'll be the biggest release and fastest uptake ever. I imagine any potential problems will come to light pretty quick.

I was able to install without much trouble. My X-Fi Soundblaster is currently driverless so went to onboard sound and my 3 displays have trouble showing the background correctly (middle part is on the left, and left part is in the middle)

Haven't gamed or anything yet so can't comment on that.

thx for the feedback @R3dw0lF . I don't want to be those guys from the hardware and software departments across all brands needing to put out drivers to fix every problem :)

did you update you're bios aswell? or does it happen automatic?

small update:
  • Screen issue has been resolved (was most likely due to display fusion having a minor discussion with nvidia).
  • Nvidia control center doesn't always start though but my 3 screens work normally.
  • CS:GO works without issues
  • Didn't do anything to my BIOS should check if it has been updated or not.
  • VPN didn't work correctly until i changed some adapter settings to secure maximum privacy :ninja:
  • Have the impression windows itself is running less smoothly than before, minor lag here and there
  • coming from windows 7 so have to look to find the correct settings and control panels a lot! this may take a while to get used to :p
  • Haven't done any graphic work or photo editing so no idea how Adobe CC survived the update
in general i'm gonna stick with it for the moment, see how the driver updates that hopefully start rolling in during the coming weeks improve the minor nuissances i'm having.

any other questions?
