Animated gif ?

Hi there, would it be possible to use my animated avatar or does the forum only accept images ?

If someone clicks on your avatar it increases in size and people can view the animated version. I'll have to look into whether it's an option for everyone to see it animated all the time.

Right, I've looked into this.

So when avatars get uploaded they get resized to fit to the box in the normal thread views so everyone doesn't have a different size avatar.

Anyone can click on your avatar to see your profile where they will be able to view the original one, moving or not. Unfortunately the resizing doesn't currently work on animated gifs so when it's resised to thread view it turns into a static image - that is until yesterday of course when the latest release of this forum came out.

It requires a few extra things installed to the server and there are a few reports of bugs with it, so I'm going to leave it for now but will update this feature when the bugs have been ironed out
