Audio Ripper and editor

So, i wanna make my own ringtones and notifications from an episode of american dad and i used to do this by using a program that ripped the audio from the video file and then i'd edit the audio with an editor program. Problem is i cant remember the names of the things i used and i've tried googling a few but none seem to do what i want.

Anyone know of some i could try?

Can this do it for stuff that's already downloaded too or just from YT?

This one is for youtube, if you want to rip from original files you can use software like : http://www.nch.com.au/switch/index.html or try to rename the file to .MP3 or .wav

Ah yes that looks like what I'm after. The YT one is good but I searched Google high and low for something like this and came up empty lol...cheers ultra
