Rules
Here at EnemyDown, providing a platform to organise matches with a controlled standard is the aim of the game. We go to great lengths to provide a fun and conducive environment from which users will hopefully derive competitive enjoyment. We will weed out those that in the view of the community spoil this environment. We will do so without hesitation. Please bear this and the following pointers in mind when dealing with any clan on EnemyDown.
· Act in a friendly manner, even in the case of a conflict.
· Be considerate and tolerant to possible problem being experienced by other users (e.g. Internet connection issues etc.).
· Refrain from any form of abuse.
Glitching and abuse of Map Bugs
It is not permitted for any user to take advantage of map bug or "glitch" during an EnemyDown fixture. Glitching is defined as moving or seeing through a physical object or an object designed to appear physical. Straight forward jumps, those that do not involve any part of the in game character moving through a physical object, are allowed.
Boost jumps, Grenade jumps, and RPG boosted jumps are NOT allowed.
Challenging
Clans are permitted to play the same opponents at 72 hour intervals. For example, Clan A plays Clan B on Monday at 1900hrs of a given week. The two clans will be allowed to play each other on Thursday at 1900hrs at the earliest.
Cancelling Fixtures
You can cancel a fixture any time before the agreed upon match date, however, you can only cancel a fixture on "the day" if the agreement to cancel the fixture is mutual (both clans have to agree to this and post in the match notes).
For example:
· If both clans agree on the morning of the 9th of November 2009, to cancel the fixture they had planned for the evening of the 9th of November 2009, then that would be ok.
·
· If either clan wanted to cancel the match any time before 0000hrs on the 9th of November 2009, for a fixture at any time on the 9th of November 2009, they could do so freely.
The Fixture
All fixtures are to be played out full. The final result will count towards your ladder rating. If unsure about what score to enter because a clan has left early, contact an admin or raise a conflict (explaining the situation) and a decision will be taken for you.
The only people allowed to spectate a match are EnemyDown Admins. Failure to allow this will result in a possible void of the fixture.
Time Reference
Let me first apologise for seeming patronising. This issue causes lots of confusion twice a year. All i hoped by typing this is that it gets clarified.
All times should be treated as UK Time. UK time is defined at GMT from 0200hrs of the last Sunday in October to 0200hrs of the last Sunday in March. UK time is defined as BST (GMT+1) from 0200hrs of the last Sunday of March to 0200hrs of the Last Sunday of October.
Impersonating
Impersonating either an admin or another player is an offense. Any evidence of this can lead to a ban.
Black Ops Specifics
Server Config
Server side configs can be found HERE: www.enemydown.eu/downloads/126 . You will need to Download the file, Open the files you want to use, edit the clan name, server size and password. Save the file. Then load it to the server with the rCon tool provided by Treyarch.
Get everyone on the server and use the "/rcon fast_restart" command and you are good to go!
Client Side Rules
For now, the basic, allowed and disallowed rules will have to be enforced. To make things easy, this is a list of stuff that is NOT allowed in any ED match.
Attachments: Masterkey, Flamethrower, & Grenade Launcher.
Secondary Weapon: Launchers.
Equipment: C4 & Claymores.
Perk 2: Warlord / Warlord Pro
Perk 3 Second Chance / Second Chance Pro
Killstreaks (They have been turned off in config, however, you are NOT allowed to use any killstreaks).
That is it. Everything else is allowed until further notice.
Unique IDs.
Unique IDs are assigned by Steam. Instructions on how to obtain your Unique ID and enter it onto your profile can be found here: http://www.enemydown.eu/news/579 .
Mercing.
Mercenaries are NOT allowed to play under any circumstance. Only green ticked players on a clans roster are allowed to play. A red-crossed player is considered a mercenary.
War Arrangers / Clan Leaders are expected to check all players on the server against the clan\'s ED roster. Any player NOT on the roster and green ticked CANNOT play.
The responsibility to check the players lies with the War Arranger / Clan Leaders of each respective clan. Please be reminded at this point, once a result has been accepted, it cannot be changed. Any conflicts should be raised before the results are accepted.
In-Game Chat
Please nominate ONE person to communicate with the other team. Everyone else should respectfully refrain from saying anything during a fixture that might cause unnecessary trouble. Greetings and pleasant wishes are encouraged. Any form of abuse will result in admin action against the offender.
Results
Please enter the results in the fixture as soon as possible and upload SCREENSHOTS of the score. Failure to provide screenshots as evidence will possibly result in a voiding of the fixture.
If you wish to conflict the fixture due to suspicious behaviour on the part of your opponents, conflict it and let an admin deal with it. If there are no conflicts for any fixture, the entered score will be accepted 72 hours after the SCHEDULED time of the fixture. Once the score has been accepted, it cannot be changed.
