our forums died long time ago but I think it would be fun to get it on track again. We\'ve got a few new members so it should be possible to get some spammers in here. I will start with this post.

I know some of you got the latest hardware in their Pc\'s while other are still gaming on oldtimers. So post your pc configurations to let us know why you play so good :p

ey there i updated my pc about 18 months ago its nothing special has my recent gaming may show but theres plenty of time for improving ive not played cod 4 for ages and im still young compared to shooter and colin lol anyways pc specs has followed

cant remember the gfx card

and a surround headset wich I cant remember the name of either. lol


anyway you can find your pc specs in your computer info. when u rightclick on my computer choose for properties. you will find all info there.

found a great little freeeware tool called game booster this tool will shut down background programs not needed when in game(a simple button click) when out of gamejust 1 click again all back to normal definately worth a look.........http://www.brothersoft.com/game-booster-233501.html....have fun........ macca

nice one Macca. I have installed it on my pc. however I stripped down my vista on my gaming boot setting manually so I cant tell the difference. but I will try on the normal boot setting tonight to see it this really works.
It said it cleared about 200mb of ram. So I guess if you have enough ram you wont notice a difference but for the ppl who might run low on ram its a very handy tool.

anyway its good to see you guys on the forums. keep it up.

It lowers the workload on your processor by shutting down processes that are running in the background and wich you dont need. It also frees up ram memory so cod4 can use more ram.
