Yeah, they don't plan on releasing them for sale to the public until the end of this year or the maybe even next year. I reckon they'll have some cheaper versions for closer to $500 and maybe some premium ones for more, as per the Google+ article I linked a couple of posts up.

I can't wait to see what kind of software the devs come up with for the HUD though
