Graphic Card Help

Hey lads
I have just been told my old g card is faulty so i have been credited with my money back.
Now i can either get a replacement of the Gainward 450 GTS 2GB card DDR3 **(Clicky)**

Or

I can upgrade to to the Palit Geforce 550 GTX TI 1GB DDR5 card **(Clicky)**

I am just a little stuck one which one to go for. I know the 550 is the better one but i am running DDR3 RAM so i am not sure if the DDR5 card would work.

Any Advise please lads ?

No competition you have to go 550 it doesnt matter about your ram its onboard the graphics card memory that is ddr5
when you get some money add a second card, same one and sli it

well done the 550 is a dx11 card and if you pair it with the same card you will be able to run BF3 at a very good framerate
