Well done mate, knew you had it in you, how you managed to fit it in between all that drinking is beyond me unless its a credit card, in which case just keep swapping the balance from card to card to keep it interest free. Awesome specs mate, will be nice to see a pic when you've got it all assembled, Johny5 said if hes got time this Christmas hell come build it for you if they don't air his film too often

It did cost a bit, not helped by having to start from scratch.
I got it all from OcUK. Not always the cheapest but my friend gets free next day delivery and its one of those companies worth supporting.

From what i've heard the 290 is f*cking loud, so i will be aiming to use something like the Kraken G10 to combat that

Well its a sound investment as you have future proofed yourself for a good while so will be chepaer next time round

Yeah, exactly.

My mate said the next gen CPUs will be the same socket (i hope anyway) so next upgrade will probably be to an i7 5th gen.
And i can always get Crossfire

But that monitor should keep my going a while

Very nice mate, welcome to the world of a real PC, are you glad you've finally done it or are you still a laptop fanboy? I take it that case is compartmented so the PSU is in a compartment behind the mobo separate from the rest?

Yeah the other side is a chamber that doesn't necessarily need cooling. I am looking to get that case.
