So I figured it was time for a site refresh, partly in anticipation of black ops coming out soon, but also as a reason to redesign for a fluid layout design - which means those of use with larger monitors will be able to utilize a bit more of that screen real estate!
Initially I've just gone for a clean black and white look, although I may customize it further and make an additional color available, perhaps a green tint instead of white. It depends if people want it or not and time permitting.
I've been using it myself the last few days and I think I've got everything looking alright, but let me know if you have any issues at all.
I've also reactivated and updated the events system which uses your normal forum account. We are going to start using this a little bit more than VWars as vwars is pretty old and hasn't been in development for over 4 years now so some issues have started to arise with it.
With the new events system we'll get notification of upcoming events on the home page, whether it's training, matches, meet ups etc.
You can also create a thread to correlate with the event, allowing us to discuss it and RSVP all in the same place.
We'll probably still use vwars it for keeping a record of our match results for the time being, as we've got quite a few matches logged in it.
