PC advice

Hi all,
how the devil are we? Hoping you are all well and being good ready for Santa to visit?

So I'm having some PC problems, making it very difficult to record songs and edit videos. I upgraded to Windows 10 a while back and since then I am having blue screen quite a lot giving me the error "internal power failure". I've had a quick Google and it seems to be graphics card related. I have checked my drivers and they are up to date. It is an old card in a 6 year old PC. I eventually want to move to MAC as they are much better for recording ect, but for now was wondering if any of you have advice or maybe have a spare card lying around that I could possibly borrow (big ask I know) to try to see if it resolves the issue? I can send it back if it eliminates the problem and buy a cheap one to tick me over until I can afford the mac. Any ideas are welcome???

Hello mate, I might have a spare card, 4870 I think. Will have a look in a bit

did you just upgrade or did you do a full install?
Have you looked at the option to update your bios?

I remember more people had problems at first, and those two things were often suggested.

I upgraded not full install. Alot of people are saying about deleting drivers and booting windows in safe mode. Robin, really appreciate that mate. Let me see If I can do this first. I am over for the rest of the week so I'll get back to you and let you know. Seems a little complicated lol!

Hi Mate long time.
I have two cards , option 1: Sapphire 4870x2 you can have it if you pay the postage & make a donation to the clan for us (it overclocks like a fury got its own waterblock and everything )
option 2: Asus Gtx 690 2 years old runs advanced in 4k @ 60fps low to med settings ( good card future proof for 2k or lower 1080p for a couple of seasons yet). pm me if your interested.

Skellen if not rob buys your gtx 690 i might be intressted got a 650 ti myself. Will buy 690 gtx 4g if i get some money back from the insjurens company but they are assholes so far
