Hey all, hope you had a good new year.

Just a quick post to let you all know I am having some pc issues which means I am not likely to be until I get them sorted.

My pc just keeps freezing and I have to cut the power, I first thought it was my sound card as when it happens the sound goes all screwy (technical term that!). I took sound card out and ran it straight from on board sound and it still happened so its not that.

I'm trying an old graphics card at the moment to see if its the graphics card thats playing up.

Anyway just thought I'd let you all know, I haven't gone missing or anything lol

Ha I wish I cant afford a new graphics card let alone a SSD lol so no I'm not using an SSD.

Try turning off AHCI in bios (if enabled) and go IDE instead ive known that give lots of problems

I wouldnt think its graphics, from experience most freezes are either loss of steady power or a tweak of bios i have spent hours checking good memory

Tom, I have a couple of cards here, nowt brilliant but might be better than the one you have at the mo, what card are you using for testing?

You can borrow one as long as you need it pal, its no problem.
