I don't know if I'll bother upgrading from Windows 7, but it seem like a pretty good deal to upgrade, especially if you're on an older OS! Link

Not so great if you're a power desktop user or a gamer. I'd just stick with Win 7 for now on a desktop.

It's also been bricking the Microsoft Surface RT Tablets, so they've pulled the RT version of the 8.1 upgrade!
